Co-hosted by the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) and Tsinghua University, the 371st China Engineering Science and Technology Forum was held in Shenzhen City on May 15, 2023. The forum, focusing on Future City and Infrastructure, attracted more than 300 experts and scholars, including 28 CAE members.

Four CAE members delivered keynote presentations on abrupt vibration of high-rise buildings, intelligent construction of urban transportation infrastructure, carbon emission reduction and pollution control in urban development, and diagnosis and treatment of engineering projects.

In addition, the forum also invited 19 experts and scholars to make presentations on 16 topics across four fields, such as urban protection and renewal, high-performance sustainable civil engineering structures, urban infrastructure safety monitoring and early warning, and engineering innovation under complex environments.
