A gathering to mark China's accomplishments in poverty alleviation and honour its model poverty fighters was held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on the morning of February 25, 2021. President Xi Jinping presented awards and delivered speeches to the winners of the honorary title of Model Poverty Fighter. The advanced individuals and advanced collectives in poverty alleviation across the country are also commended during the event. CAE Member Li Yu won the honorary title of Model Poverty Fighter.
