The 372nd China Engineering Science and Technology Forum was held in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on May 29 and 30, concurrently with the "Belt and Road Initiative, Healthy Xinjiang" Forum.

In addition to plenary sessions, the event included six panel discussions held at Xinjiang Medical University and its affiliated hospitals, covering areas such as clinical medicine, pharmacy and oncology.

CAE members delivered two keynote presentations on the digital transformation of medicine and the development of smart regional medical systems. The meeting facilitated the exchange of ideas aimed at accelerating Xinjiang’s goal to develop itself as the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt and promote the high-quality development of healthcare in the autonomous region.
