Frontiers of Science & Technology of Engineering Management holds meetings in Hefei

On October 7, 2023, Frontiers of Science & Technology of Engineering Management (FSTEM) convened its annual editorial board meeting along with a meeting of the journal’s contributing experts in Hefei City, Anhui Province.

 

The event, co-hosted by the Engineering Management Division of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) and Hefei University of Technology (HFUT), included participation of CAE members and more than 80 experts in the field of engineering management.

 

Zheng Lei, President of HFUT, congratulated the journal on the achievements since its inception in 2022 and pledged continuous support for the journal’s high-quality development.

 .

The editorial board reported its work, and invited representatives from publications, including Frontiers of Engineering Management (English), Management World, and Journal of Management Science in China to share their experiences.

 

During the exchanges and discussions, CAE members and experts put forward opinions and suggestions on how journals can meet the country’s strategic needs, play a leading role in innovation, and enhance quality.

 

CAE member Lu Chunfang, director of the Engineering Management Division and editor-in-chief of FSTEM, expressed his gratitude to HFUT and experts for their strong support of the journal. He suggested continuous efforts to enhance the quality in terms of contributors, reviewing and publishing, focusing on frontiers in major engineering projects, science and technology. The Engineering Management Division will actively support the work of the journal.

 

CAE member Yang Shanlin, the executive editor-in-chief of FSTEM, concluded that the journal should closely focus on the frontier engineering science and technology and engineering management, show China's outstanding achievements in the field of engineering management, and promote exchanges and cooperation between domestic management and engineering scientists while improving the influence of the journal in the academic community and the industrial sector.
