On August 19, over 20 academy members and experts participated in the launch meeting in Beijing of research into leveraging digital and intelligent technologies to support management of complex engineering projects, a key consulting project of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE).

The project team outlined the challenges and key issues faced in the field, as well as new methods and approaches for integrating next-generation information technology with engineering projects. The attending CAE members and experts affirmed the significance of the project and engaged in exchanges on innovative practices.
