The Engineering Management Academic Division of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) organized the symposium on “Digital Economy and Engineering Science and Technology” in Changsha, Hunan Province, on October 26 and 27, 2024.

The academic meeting convened 31 CAE Members, leaders from the Hunan Provincial Department of Science and Technology and Hunan University of Technology and Business, representatives from relevant institutions and enterprises, as well as over 4,000 experts who joined the conference via livestream.

The symposium included an opening ceremony, three keynote sessions, two parallel forums, and a closed-door meeting hosted by the CAE. A total of 40 CAE Members and experts were invited to deliver high-level academic presentations. The discussions explored how to strengthen the synergy between the two fields, foster mutual advancement, shape new development paradigms, and accelerate the growth of new quality productive forces.
