The Sino-Russian International High-level Forum on Biomedical Engineering Science and Technology Strategy and the 13th Sino-Russian International Congress of Pharmacology were held concurrently in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province from August 5 to 7, 2022.

The forum was co-hosted by the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Association of Sino-Russian Medical Universities (ASRMU), the Chinese Pharmacological Society, and Harbin Medical University.

Twenty-one academicians from China, Russia, the UK, Canada and other countries joined more than 150 renowned experts and scholars from more than 60 universities and research institutes from home and abroad to discuss the cutting-edge topics in international biomedical development. The event also comprehensively showcased the latest progress and achievements in basic medicine, clinical medicine, medical genetics, immunology, pharmacy, public health, biomedical engineering and digital medicine.

The forum in hybrid format included 14 parallel meetings, including one for academicians and others for engineering frontiers, translational medicine innovative development and other topics. Over 80 Chinese and foreign experts were invited to give presentations, attracting a total of more than 1.5 million online views.
