Medical and health care is a well-being issue that all governments put emphasis on. The development of the Silk Road of Health is of great importance to people and brings everyone together. The project analysed ways to coordinate and utilise domestic and overseas resources from three aspects, namely telemedicine, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and medical education. The project strengthens the medical and health cooperation between China and countries along the Belt and Road, builds a system of industrial chain with complementary medical and health resources and integrates upstream and downstream cooperation, and improves the level and quality of medical and health care services.
