Research on Modern Integrated Medical and Health Care System and Talent Training Model, a major consulting project by the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), was launched at a hybrid online-offline session in Beijing on April 7, 2022.

Participating experts put forward specific opinions and suggestions on the objectives, general ideas, methods and task divisions of the research. They agreed that the project should feature in-depth analyses of specific models and the pathway for a modern system that combines medical care and health care as well as training of medical institution management talent while providing relevant policy suggestions.

In his summary speech, CAE member Wang Chen expressed thanks to experts for their suggestions and urged the team to consider their ideas, implement the project as soon as possible and complete the work with high quality standards.
