President Zhou Ji and Executive Vice President Pan Yunhe Met with James Testa, Vice President of Thomson Reuters Corporation
CAE President Zhou Ji and Executive Vice President Pan Yunhe met with a visiting delegation led by James Testa, Vice President of Thomson Reuters Corporation, at the CAE Office Building on April 10, 2013. Both sides conducted in-depth discussions as to strengthening cooperation in digital and journal publishing, as well as research & development of Thomson Reuters in China.
Zhou expressed warm welcome to the visiting guests, pointing out that the Science Citation Index (SCI) released by the Thomson Reuters Corporation was a highly authoritative and well-known science citation retrieval system, enjoying extraordinarily high prestige in the international academic circles, thus having made great contributions to the promotion and development of science in the world.
James Testa said Thomson Reuters attached great importance to the local needs while developing businesses in China. In the future, Thomson Reuters would continue to devote attention to the research & development investment in China, willing to provide the most advanced professional information resources for China’s scientific and technological innovation. James Testa also extended his hope to strengthen cooperation with the Chinese Academy of Engineering, contributing to the development of science and technology, especially the development of engineering science and technology in China in the future.
