CAE (Chinese Academy of Engineering) President Zhou Ji met with Prof. Sir Mike Gregory, Member of RAEng (Royal Academy of Engineering, UK) at CAE office building on September 5, 2011. Actually, CAE and RAEng have maintained very nice cooperative relationship along the years. In this meeting, Zhou and Sir Mike Gregory exchanged views regarding strategic studies in fields like emerging industries, and manufacturing sector. Both sides also discussed possibilities for further collaboration in the future. 

Present in the meeting were CAE Members Zhu Gaofeng and Wu Cheng, Zhou Yuan, Director Assistant for China Engineering Science and Technology Development Strategy Research Institute of Tsinghua University, and Cheng Jiayi, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Cooperation of CAE.
