On January 12, 2022, the unveiling ceremony for the Base of Future Science and Technology Education, ICEE was held in Beijing. Prof. WANG Sunyu, Deputy Executive Director and Secretary General of ICEE, a professor of Institute of Education, Tsinghua University, ZHOU Shuhua, Founder and Managing Director of Huahe Cultural Development Co., Ltd.（Huahe Culture）, LOU Sha, Investment Director of Huahe Cultural Development Co., Ltd., CHEN Guoyu, Deputy Secretary General of China Academy of Space Technology Board, WEI Gaole, Director of Education and Training Division, Human Resource Department of China Academy of Space Technology, SHEN Ye, Assistant to the Secretary General of ICEE and Secretary General of ICEE Global Corporate Partnership Board, QIAO Weifeng, Assistant to the Secretary General of ICEE, XU Lihui, Assistant to the Secretary General of ICEE, and LIU Binli, Founder of Beijing Yuke Future Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd. (Yuke Future) were present. XIN Xianghui, Vice President of Beijing Yuke Future Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd., presided over the unveiling ceremony.

Prof. WANG Sunyu gives a speech

Prof. WANG Sunyu briefly reviewed ICEE's work in the past year. He noted that， ICEE and UNESCO jointly released the second UNESCO Engineering Report Engineering for Sustainable Development, which aroused strong response in the field of engineering education worldwide. Prof. WANG Sunyu expressed the hope that the Base of Future Science and Technology Education can boost the cause of engineering education effectively and become the cradle of engineering talents.

ZHOU Shuhua expressed his gratitude to ICEE for its guidance and support to the Yuke Future. Huahe Culture and Yuke Future will work closely with ICEE and its global partners, to devote itself to engineering education. LIU Binli reviewed the various engineering education activities jointly carried out by Yuke Future and Huahe Culture under the guidance of ICEE, and thanked ICEE for its full recognition of the work of the Base and the strong support of Huahe Culture. SHEN Ye sent her sincere wishes to the Base of Future Science and Technology Education, ICEE. Hopefully, ICEE, Huahe Culture and Yuke Future could accompany the Base to grow together in the future, so that engineering education could fly up high. XIN Xianghui made the 2021 annual work report and 2022 working plan of the Base of Future Science and Technology Education, ICEE.

Since its establishment in 2019, the Base of ICEE-Huahe STEAM Educational Research has held "Future Engineers" public welfare research camp, "APAR Asia-pacific Youth Science and Technology Innovation Conference", "Digital Talent Training" public welfare projects, etc. Active exploration has been made in the further combination of international engineering education with technological innovation, vocational education, online education and green education for teenagers. In order to match the current development needs and give better play to the advantages of the Base, the Base of ICEE-Huahe STEAM Educational Research was officially renamed as the Base of Future Science and Technology Education, after the discussion and unanimous vote of the ICEE Secretariat Office.
