The Technology and Research Department of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region recently approved the building of 60 academician work stations in the region’s 50 companies and research institutions.

Out of the 50 companies, five are from Liuzhou city. The Liuzhou companies, including Liugong Machinery Co and Liuzhou OVM Engineering Co, will benefit from the academician work stations in terms of improving innovation and competitiveness.

As many as 24 academician work stations out of the 60 stations are built in companies. The other 36 stations are built in universities and research institutes.

As many as 71 academicians will be working in the 60 stations. Their expertise ranges from agriculture to machinery.

At the moment, the five Liuzhou companies have invited seven academicians. Cooperation between the academicians and the companies is expected to not only boost the business performance of the companies but also nurture a group of high-end talents.
