Li Lanjuan: academic leader in field of epidemiology
Professor Li Lanjuan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), introduces the artifical liver supporting system in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province, May 21, 2015. Prof. Li also serves as the director of the State Key Laboratory for Infectious Diseases Diagnosis and Treatment. She has been engaged in clinical, teaching and research work of infectious diseases for over 30 years. She is the academic leader in the field of epidemiology, particularly in treating severe hepatitis with artificial liver supporting system and research on the establishment and application of infectious microecology.
