On May 29, during the 20^th general assembly of the members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the 15^th general assembly of the members of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), the ceremony for the 13^th Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Prize was held.

Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Prize

The Special Contribution Award of the 13^th Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Prize was conferred to all members of the Medicine and Health Engineering Division of CAE, for their outstanding contributions to the fight against COVID-19. The Achievement Award was conferred to Peng Shilu, member of CAE.

The Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Prizes were issued to 39 experts for their outstanding achievements in their specialised fields. They are: Jiang Zhuangde, Feng Jianghua, Zhu Kun, Zou Ruping, Li Tianchu, Ji Xinsheng, Li Jindong, Wang Haifeng, Wang Dianzuo, Liu Youzhi, Zhang Fucheng, Zhou Shaoxiong, Huang Qili, Liu Jianjun, Lv Junfu, Sun Youhong, Cui Junzhi, Zeng Bin, Hu Ya’an, Yin Yueping, Hao Jiming, Shan Yang, Quan Xie, Xia Xianzhu, Chen Daiwen, Shen Qirong, Zhou Mingguo, Zhang Boli, Jiang Baoguo, Wang Ningli, Xiao Wei, Huang Weihe, Fang Dongping, Tan Xuguang, Wu Yansheng, Lv Rongcong, Yan Qingyun, Tao Xiaoming, and Tang Zikang.
