On October 19, Mironov (Миронов Сергей Михайлович), Chairman of the Rus-sian Federation Commission, together with his fellow delegates, paid a friendly visit to the Chinese Academy of Engineering. In the visit, Chairman Mironov awarded medals to CAE Member Wang Dianzuo and Professor Ma Fu-kang on behalf of the Russian Federation Commission in recognition of their outstanding contributions in science and technology coop-eration between China and Russia. Mr. Wang Dianzuo is a Member of CAE right now, who was elected to be Foreign Member of the Rus-sian Academy of Sciences in 2006. Professor Ma Fukang is also Foreign Member of the Rus-sian Academy of Sciences, who is currently Vice Chairman of the Nonferrous Metals So-ciety of China.
