President - Li Xiaohong                

Li Xiaohong (June 1959- ) is an expert in mine safety technology and a native of Chongqing. He graduated from Chongqing University in December 1993 with a doctorate in engineering. He is a member of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and a deputy to the 12th National People's Congress. He served as President of Chongqing University, President of Wuhan University, Vice Minister of Education of the People's Republic of China, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Coal Mine Disaster Dynamics and Control. He is currently President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.                

Vice President - Zhong Zhihua 
               

Zhong Zhihua (July 1962- ) is an expert in vehicle engineering and a native of Xiangyin County, Hunan Province. He graduated from Linkoping University in Sweden in 1988 with a doctorate in engineering. He is currently Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Zhong has long been engaged in the research and applications in automobile design and manufacturing technology. His research mainly focuses on automobile collision safety technology, body forming technology, modular lightweight automobile technology and innovation technologies for intelligent new energy vehicles.               

Vice President - Deng Xiuxin
               

Deng Xiuxin (November 1961- ) is an expert in pomology and a native of Yizhang County, Hunan Province. He has served as the Chairman of the Chinese Citrus Society and  Chairman of the International Society of Citrus. He is a member of the 11th, 12th and 13th Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, a member of the 9th and 10th National Committee of the China People's Political Consultative Conference. He is currently Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Vice President of the China Association for Science and Technology.                 

Vice President - Wang Chen
               

Wang Chen (August 1962- ) is an expert in respiratory medicine and critical care medicine and a native of Dezhou City,Shandong Province. He graduated from Capital Medical University in 1985 and received his doctorate in medicine from the same institution in 1991. He is a member of the Standing Committee of the 13th National Committee of the China People's Political Consultative Conference. He is currently Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

Secretary-General - Chen Jianfeng
               

Chen Jianfeng (August 1965- ) is an expert in chemical engineering and a native of Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. He graduated from Zhejiang University in 1992 with a doctorate in engineering. He is currently Secretary-General of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. He is one of the pioneers in  high-gravity  chemical technology in the world and has led the world in putting forward the idea of high-gravity reactor engineering and its industrial application.
