President - Zhang Yuzhuo                

    Zhang Yuzhuo (January 1962- ) is an expert in clean coal technology with a 

doctorate in engineering. He currently serves as the President of the Chinese Academy

 of Engineering.

    He has long been engaged in research and industrialization in the energy sector 

and has made a number of innovative achievements in the field of new coal chemical 

industry. 

    He was elected a Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2011.

Vice President - Zhang Jun 
               

    Zhang Jun (July 1965– ) is an expert in air traffic engineering with a doctorate in 

engineering. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Chinese Academy of 

Engineering.

    He has long been engaged in research and talent cultivation in aviation 

communication, navigation and surveillance, as well as space-air-ground integrated 

sensing. He has undertaken pioneering and innovative work in civil aviation air route 

network operation monitoring, civil aviation flight inspection, and aerospace complex 

environment detection.

    He was elected a Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2013.

Vice President - Chen Jie
                               

    Chen Jie (July 1965– ) is an expert in control science and engineering with a 

doctorate in engineering. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Chinese 

Academy of Engineering.

    He has long been engaged in teaching and research in control science and 

engineering, intelligent unmanned systems and related fields. He has made important 

achievements in multi-objective optimization and control of complex systems in 

dynamic environments as well as cooperative control of multi-agent systems. He has 

been elected IEEE Fellow, IFAC Fellow and ACA Fellow.

    He was elected a Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2017.

Vice President - Li Zhongping

    Li Zhongping (August 1964– ) is an expert in composite materials with a doctorate 

in engineering. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Chinese Academy of 

Engineering.

    He was elected a Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2013.

Vice President - Chen Jianfeng
                               

    Chen Jianfeng (August 1965– ) is an expert in chemical engineering with a doctorate in engineering. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Chinese Academy of 

Engineering.

    He is one of the pioneers in high-gravity chemical technology in the world and has 

led the world in putting forward the idea of high-gravity reactor engineering and its 

industrial application.

    He was elected a Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2015.

Vice President - Chen Wei

    Chen Wei (February 1966– ) is an expert in biosafety with a doctorate in medicine. She currently serves as the Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

    She has been engaged in the research of novel vaccines and biopharmaceutical.

She received the national honor “People’s Hero” in 2020.

    She was elected a Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2019.
