Work plan

(Revised draft after the first meeting of the Working Committee)

The Working Committee of Senior Members of the CAE and the CAS is an important platform for the role of senior members of the CAE and the CAS to be played. This platform should be well utilized to give full play to the role of senior members of the CAE and the CAS.

The Working Committee carries out the following activities:

1. To convene Working Committee meetings and director meetings;

2. To carry out consultation activities;

3. To carry out academic activities and science popularization activities;

4. To carry out ‘face-to-face with college, middle and elementary school students’ activities;

5. To organize activities suitable for senior members of the CAE and the CAS including inspections and health seminars;

6. To organize activities for senior members of the CAE and the CAS outside Beijing;

7. To assist in solving difficulties in work and life of some senior members of the CAE and the CAS.
